So how has my neglected corner of da been recently? Not too good it seems.... Need to get back on here....

I've been working a bunch, trying to make more stupid money *sigh*. Same shit different day pretty much

I've got quite a stack of hemp jewelry going! Hopefully I'll be able to get pictures up of a bunch of them. I'm selling quite a few, and I'm very proud of them all. I'm excited to hear what you guys think once I finally upload them

As a side note: Brian and I went to see Star Trek the other day. We hopped onto the computer at three-something in the afternoon to see what time the next showing was. It was right at 4:20!

We looked at each other and both of us said at the same time, "Let's go, now." Haha! Ahh, fate

Brilliant movie though. I think the actors were the perfect choices for their parts. I was very impressed with it all. Even Brian liked it, and he's not a big fan of Star Trek

Brian also signed up for GameFly, and so now we've got the video game, InFamous, which is like Assassin's Creed on crack.

Question to the Black Scythe Pack: Does the BSP still exist? I've been gone for a while and even before I was gone, I was expecting more action, but...it seems deader than it was before. Is it just cause I'm out of the loop now or what?

Glad to hear from ya. I haven't see the Trek movie but I know my roommate Kirk hated it. Then again, he's like a huge Trekkie. All he could say afterwards was '....THEY IMPLODED VULCAN!!" Was kinda funny actually, then he told me the plot and all I could think of was....hey wait weren't you watching Star Wars? THe funny thing was yesterday he should me a film on collegehumor.com taht said about the same thing. lol

It's pretty much dead, yeah...

My attempt to revive it went to hell because not a single one of our admins has even logged on since then, so I don't really know what to do. =Nekoori is still offering to help, but she hasn't been very active on dA lately, and I'm just now starting to come online regularly again.

So I might just start updating it myself again...

And if all else fails -- well, we still have the chatroom! I can redo the pack account so that it corresponds to whatever we're doing in the chatroom, and then we can be a big pack of chatroom-addicted wolfies. :3

Other than that, I'm just glad it's finally summer. O__O Hope everything's going well for you!

We haven't talked in so long, we really need to get on the chat sometime!

I will buy your hemp if I ever get any money! I found twenty bucks cleaning my room yesterday. It all went to half a tank of gas, which had been on empty for three days.

So now I'm broke again.

I haven't been on dA in forever. Everything goes by the wayside when I come home and actually get to hang out with people.

Yeah, it's the "Me Generation' version of Star Trek apparently and then some people fucked with time and so it created an alternate universe, which has happened before anyway. There was an alternate universe in one of the old episodes and Spock's alternate whoever actually had a beard, so it's not that much of a stretch to believe that there could be an alternate universe where all this stuff took place

I've heard that a lot of the hardcore trekkies are uber pissed. At first, I was a little annoyed by the changes, but then I realized that they really did a good job of updating the story/characters and all that for people nowadays. I mean, I LOVE the original actors and characters, but it was really very refreshing to be surprised and not quite know how everything was going to work out. Plus, for the most part, I think they did a very good job honoring the original. They kept the essence of Star Trek there, and the undercurrents between all the characters. So...I dunno. I like it and I really can't see why people hate it so much.

There were a few Star Wars-like creatures randomly thrown in at one point, but come on, if they had the technology to be able to make kickass monsters pop out of wherever they wanted throughout the original television series, they probably would have done it.

lol your right. I'll have to get you the link to that film it's actually really funny. HEH EVil twin spock ftw. My cousing Adam hated it, but i dont think they coulda made one the uber trekkies would actualy love. I just think its funny how often alternate reality is used especially in Star Trek. lol.

If Lavi doesn't take anything to heart, it will be lots of fun. It's a pretty laid back atmosphere. Although, we are cracking down on some shit. We still have fun with all that.

Danit, I don't get regular hours either. Just what I'm given. I have to be happy with that. I should be getting a second job sometime soon.

That sucks

I was waiting for Nekoori to post a new journal on the packs page with the info I sent her about contests. I was hoping that if I got one started, it would get people more interested in the pack sooner.

A pack based more on the chatroom wouldn't be such a bad idea! ^^ It would fix the problem of pack members not knowing each other well enough to really be considered a pack.
