Fuck You DA

You know, I've been fairly patient and nice about everything since I joined DA a long time ago (even before this account, I had my old account for a long time, so I've been around for a spell ;)). There have been ups and downs as anyone can see simply by reading my journals, but never has DA made me as mad as it did today.

I logged on to find my favorite deviation, Meka my eight-legged wolf removed from the Traditional Art gallery because it was flagged as being in the wrong category. And of course since DA can't fucking check with the fucking original artist before moving shit around as much as their wittle hearts desire, Meka was moved to the Digital Art gallery.

....

Cause THAT makes SO much fucking sense! He's a pencil drawing that I colored by hand with colored pencil....

EXPLAIN TO ME HOW THAT'S DIGITAL FUCKING ART!!!!!!!!

So for the first time ever, I found myself wondering why I'm even on this site anymore. And you know what? I'm really having trouble coming up with answers.

Before you all freak out and start sending my notes and messages saying "Kara, don't leave!", or whatever, I'll let you know not to worry. I'm not leaving DA, I'd miss it too much! But I do want to say that because of shit like this, I doubt if I'll ever be as active as I used to be, and I'm REALLY debating on becoming just a lurker and never uploading anything ever again. I'm sick of bullshit like this, and I'm SO fucking sick of the DA staff.

So, a big huge :finger: to the staff. You assholes can fuck off, you're the worst bunch of retards and fucksticks I have ever had the displeasure of knowing. Good fucking day.

They did it to one of my deviations as well - can't remember which one it was now but it either was moved to anthro (which is a load of bull as I've not uploaded anthro in years...this was a recent piece mind) or it might have been making something 'mature content' when there was nothing bad on it at all...

But yeh they are twats. They could be at least half decent and get in contact with the artist first. That way they wouldn't have so many angry people on their case -_-;


But hey, they never learn.
Go take a walk and get out of DA for a bit - you deserve it =)

... I had multiple deviations moved around AND like, 6 harmless deviations, and like, 4 of them being icons removed... I don't think moving a pencil drawing into digital is really something to get that worked up about...

That's just my opinion D: don't get mad at me...

But it's not the first time. They've moved stuff of mine around before, on my previous account and on other accounts of mine. All for bullshit reasons. It's just that Meka is more important to me than any of the previous artworks, so now I'm mad. Before I was just irritated, now they've messed with one of my most cherished characters and one of my favorite drawings. It's like...the straw that broke the camel's back, ya know?

And don't worry, I'm not mad at you ;) You're entitled to your opinion too. :XD:
