Anyways! I've been watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 t.v. shows and playing Fallout 3 for the past few days.... I'm having a GREAT time! Hung out with mom today. She doesn't really like my hair dyed like this.
We went to a consignment shop (basically a large garage sale indoors filled with stuff that is actually worth money).
"Here's more Stephen King books," she said, and I knelt down to see it while she asked in disbelief, "Is that a group of stories, or just one book?"
"It's just one book mom."
"My gosh, when did you read that?"
Shrugging, I replied, "Eighth grade."
She stared at me like I had told her I knew the secret to life,t he universe, and everything.
It amazes me how people can NOT like to read....
There was also the coolest thing I had ever seen: it looked like an old-fashioned globe, the kind that are so big they have to be set on the floor instead of a table or desk top. The wooden piece circling it had the astrological signs painted onto it. They were the ones you see in ancient charts. The globe could open. The lid tilted back on a hinge and the inside of it had images from the Sistine Chapel ceiling. Inside of it all was an ice box and around that, to keep the drinks cold, a rack for bottles of liquor! OMG! I wanted it SO bad! But two problems, 1) I don't have sixty dollars to fork over for it and 2) if I DID have the money, I'd have nowhere to put the thing. So...I have to hope I can find something like it once I move into a house...or make my own.
Oh, my mom and I also went into Hot Topic today. I saw t-shirts with Fred on them.... If you don't know who Fred is, watch this: [link]
Yeah.... And people think it's funny.... Sorry if you're one of the ones that actually like Fred...but I felt some little part of me almost offended by the fact that this loser's face was on a fucking t-shirt in Hot Topic. Not once, not twice, but three times! THREE different t-shirts! Who wears that?!
And now, I have to show you guys the video craze I've been on. Have fun

I know that all admins are happy about that, because they have secret knowledge.
I know that all wannabeabitthinginthecommunity are all obsessed about it, because... well they´re wannabes.
I don´t know why the others are happy about that <.<
Anyway.
I just guess it gets the community to be closer. Like...
Person A makes a good picture and demands critique.
Person B comments a critique on it.
Person C to Z that watch B get to see A´s artwork.
Person 1 to 9 that are ( for whatever reason ) into that critque thing get to see B depending on how they react to the judgement A gave to Bs critique.
Woo.
Closer community!
So yeah, since it doesn´t really matter to us, lets just pretend it isn´t a necessary thing to dA if you want to have fun.
You still owe us a new ID with your new hair colour n style. Bet I have to agree to Brian xP
I know that feeling you had when you suprised your mother with the fact that you love to read xD I get it anytime when I gift-write someone something and get the reaction as the following:
"OMG Thank you Wuffel! It´s great! You really shouldn´t have had all the effort with it just for me!"
"It wasn´t so much effort to write that, you know. And you´re welcome."
"How long did you write on it?"
"Pff maybe 7 pages / hour?"
"*insert face your mum made in that consignment shop*"
It´s like the fact they are suprised by the fact I love to write xD And yes when I´m in the flow I get to write 7 page an hour I´m actually happy with^^ ( Not to mention the other 13 pages I think that suck and delete as I write them. I guess you know what I mean <.< )
Can I ask you about what a hot topic store is? We don´t have such a thing around here <.<;
And who wears such a t-shirt? Short answer: Fans. ( aka those that are so obsessed about something they spent money of it > The base of what nowadays is merchandising xP )
God I wish I would´ve one of my books printed with alot of fans loving and spending alot of money on such fan stuff... *sigh*
I guess you´ve been surfing alot today, otherwise you wouldn´t have come up with so many links xD
Yes, as allways I read your journal completely^^ Why?
cz I luves my lil sis x3
PS.: Don´t ever feel like spamming your watchers with those. Really. You may write alot but you´re not updating like every 6 hours o.o;
Oh and sorry if I don´t comment sometimes, or if I do then write so much. That´s just me ^^ ;

And reading, I LOVE reading. It was funny too, when I was in middle school, I was reading more books than the highschoolers. But then again, I was (and still am) an escapist lol.
And Fred... yeah, my cousin's showed me that once. I was like... if I was ever in a room for more than one minute with that kid, only one of us would be coming back out x3
But yeah... SOOOO annoying.
Huge rummage sales are so much fun though ^^ That globe sounds freaking awesome. I remember seeing them in movies (like Matilda lol) But yeah, sounds like fun ^^

Next time shit goes down, wear stilts!! This way you won't go down with it, and you can walk all over it afterwards.
